Challenges of the customer

1. During the corona pandemic, M365 was introduced, with usage varying greatly between the company’s locations worldwide.

2. The different global standards made communication and collaboration more difficult

Our approach

We have developed a targeted process to enable uniform communication and collaboration worldwide. In close cooperation with the customer, we defined standards and implemented them step by step, taking into account the individual requirements of the various locations at all times. This resulted in smooth integration and sustainable optimization of work processes

Guideline creation

First, a guideline for communication and collaboration was developed, which was used as a target image and defines the globally uniform standard. This was agreed with the CIO and approved by him .

Rollout planning

Several rollout phases were defined, starting with the rollout in Germany (approx. 30 locations), followed by the EU+ region (approx. 25 locations) and finally in APEC and North America.

Information & Workshops

At the beginning, an information event was held for managers (managing directors and IT managers) from Germany. Based on this, workshops were organized with the individual companies in which the current status, the target situation and the next steps were defined.

Customized solutions and guideline integration

Individual, tailor-made solutions were developed with the various departments to optimize collaboration within and between the companies. These solutions also brought the companies into line with the new guideline for communication and collaboration.

Rollout in other regions

This approach was gradually extended to the other regions (EU+, APEC and North America), with individual adaptations and solutions being developed in each case to ensure seamless implementation of the guideline.
